Welcome to my author’s site.
I am an emerging writer of historical suspense fiction whose work reflects a particular interest in connecting individual stories to larger historical events. I live in Massachusetts with my family—solving sticky technical issues as an IT solution architect by day, and sticky plot issues as a novelist by night.
My stories tend to deal with moments when ordinary lives collide with larger events—war, espionage, political upheaval, the secrets people carry, and stories they passed from one generation to the next. I’ve spent much of my professional career solving complex problems in the technology world, which may explain my fondness for tangled plots, hidden motives, and characters who discover that nothing is quite as simple as it first appears.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading history or fiction, traveling, or disappearing down a research rabbit hole that began with one innocent question and somehow consumed the afternoon.
